Provide secretarial and administrative support for the supervisor and staff of the Emerging Contaminants Unit (ECU) of the Executive Section. This position requires the use of independent judgment and knowledge of the functions of the public health protection programs within the Unit, Section, and Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division (DWEHD). This position is responsible for preparing correspondence, reviewing, and editing documents, and other written materials. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining file records, including uploading laboratory analytical reports and other documents related to sampling initiatives into appropriate data systems, and completing other office related activities, such as preparing and distributing mail, answering phone calls, and assisting unit supervisor and staff in scheduling meetings.

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Two years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including one year equivalent to 6-level administrative support experience.?
Three years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including one year equivalent to experienced-level administrative support work or equivalent to a Secretary 7 or Legal Secretary 7.
